The Assassin's Creed franchise is not exactly the type of family friendly fare Disney is known for, but if Ubisoft and the House of Mouse ever did come together for an animated version of the action series, it might look like this.
Deviant art user JessKat-art created an Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag poster with a Disney spin, showing main character Edward Kenway animated in a toon style.
Disney already has a major pirate-themed franchise in its portfolio: Pirates of the Caribbean. The next installment in that series is due sometime in 2015 or later.
Ubisoft is producing an Assassin's Creed movie of its own, with Michael Fassbender (12 Years a Slave, Inglourious Basterds) playing the lead role in the film scheduled to launch in August 2015.
