Diablo II Updated
Blizzard releases the promised 1.02 patch to fix problems appearing after the game's release.
Blizzard has quickly turned around a small update to solve several issues that surfaced after the game's release two weeks ago. Bringing the game up to version 1.02, the new patch most significantly fixes a problem that could delete a player's single-player character if a multiplayer character existed with the name.
