Bungie announced today that Destiny's servers will be offline tomorrow, September 15, for around two hours. The purpose of the downtime is to complete server maintenance, Bungie said in a post.

Beginning at 7:30 AM PT, you won't be able to log into Destiny in advance of the maintenance. At 8 AM PT, all players will be removed from Destiny activities as the servers go down. The maintenance period is expected to wrap up by 9:30 AM PT, for a total downtime of around two hours if everything goes to plan.

During the downtime, signing in through Bungie.net and the Destiny companion app "may be restricted." Another thing to note is that if you're signed in before the maintenance period begins, you will receive a note through in-game messaging informing you that the server maintenance is coming so you can get your affairs in order.

In other Destiny news, Bungie today released the launch trailer for the new Rise of Iron expansion, which comes out on September 20. Additionally, Bungie confirmed it will not release a PS4 Pro patch for Destiny right away, though this hasn't been ruled out for the future.
