Destiny Players Discover Infinite Ammo Exploit

New footage emerges showing a player firing heavy weapons without the need to reload.

Some Destiny players appear to have found an exploit that removes the necessity of reloading weapons.

As showcased via a YouTube video, shown above, one player has found a way to empty a full magazine of rockets and continue firing without reloading. The same trick was also demonstrated with a sniper rifle.

The video shows how this exploit works in the single-player campaign, though it is unclear whether the same trick can be applied in multiplayer.

Those that exploit this trick run the risk of being penalized by the game's developer, Bungie, but the studio has not yet commented on the matter.

GameSpot has contacted publisher Activision to clarify whether the exploit will be addressed.

Destiny, which launched on Tuesday, is being hailed by Activision as the games industry's biggest new IP ever. Though sales numbers have not been disclosed yet, Activision says has already recouped $500 million in revenue from the blockbuster.
