At E3, Capcom announced that it would publish the PlayStation 2 version of Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown, but no publishing plans were announced for the previously mentioned Xbox and PC versions of the game. Cinemaware has today confirmed that the PC version of the game is still on the way and that it has reached beta status.

Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown is an update of the 1980s classic action strategy game Defender of the Crown. The game features tales from the legend of Robin Hood and includes characters such as Little John, Friar Tuck, Maid Marian, and more. Like the original, the game includes a number of stereotypically medieval activities for players to engage in, including jousts, castle sieges, archery, and sword fights.
