Infogrames sent us a group of new screenshots from Deadly Dozen, its upcoming first- and third-person shooter set in Europe and North Africa during World War II. The game, which is in development at Nfusion, has reached gold candidate stage and is awaiting approval from the publisher. Infogrames sent us a group of new screenshots from the latest build of the game, and they show off some of the different characters, weapons, and environments that players will encounter during the game's missions.

Deadly Dozen will let players control a team of 12 soldiers in a series of 10 missions during World War II. The game includes historical battles such as Operation Torch, the D-Day Invasion, Operation Market Garden, The Battle of the Bulge, and the Crossing on the Rhine River. In addition, it features authentic World War II weapons, such as the M1 Garand, Springfield sniper rifle, bazooka, Thompson submachine gun, Schmeisser submachine gun, Panzershrek, and Luger pistol, as well as vehicles such as Tiger tanks, German half-tracks, and motorcycles with sidecars. The missions include realistic environments complete with weather effects and authentic hazards, such as minefields, barbed wire, and other obstacles.

Deadly Dozen is scheduled for release in November. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game.
