A pair of individuals are claiming to have launched a series of DDoS attacks on Valve's Steam servers.

Twitter user chFtheCatso announced that "we're launching more ddos dildo attacks at steam, me n @LARCENY_" in the early hours of this morning.

User LARCENY_ also posted a picture of the DDoS tool the pair were using to disrupt Steam.

Valve has not officially responded to the claims of outages, although many Steam users report that the service was intermittent for a period yesterday. Events were said to have been at their worst when the store was completely offline for an hour at around 23:00 PT yesterday.

The claims of the pair follow another cracking claim on Twitter, with the DERP trolling group saying they also forced EA's Origin service offline overnight.
