Comments

Mint Rocket, the developers of Dave The Diver, announced that the hit game will be coming to PlayStation in April during the State of Play, alongside a Godzilla crossover in May.

Although the trailer doesn't show off much, we're given glimpses of Dave swimming around the ocean, solving puzzles, and avoiding sea monsters. As the trailer continues, we see Godzilla emerge and immediately run toward a giant sea creature.

Now Playing: Dave The Diver - State of Play Announce Trailer

Thanks to a PlayStation Blog post, we know that the PS5 version of the game will have haptic feedback whenever a fish tugs at your line. There will also be various adaptive trigger effects that will change based on the weapon players are using. Last but not least, the blog post also mentions that the upcoming Godzilla DLC will be free.

As of late, Mint Rocket has been busy with Dave The Diver. In December, the studio announced a free DLC that included a new night map and fish. In addition, the studio has also been making it a point to get the game on as many platforms as possible. The game made its way over to Switch last October. On top of that, Dave The Diver received the Sit Back and Relax award during the 2023 Steam Awards.

As the name suggests, you play as a man named Dave who dives in the ocean. As you're in the sea, you'll be tasked with solving puzzles and collecting treasure. But in the process, you'll also have to avoid bizarre sea creatures bent on killing you.
