Daikatana Released!
The highly anticipated release of John Romero's shooter comes with a Mplayer connection.
APRIL FOOL - A tipster has alerted GameSpot News that ION Storm's Daikatana has been released in limited quantities to retailers nationwide. The source, who works for a large national retail chain, says ION will also be releasing the game's first add-on pack, Daikatana: The AI, sometime this fall.
Additional rumors say that Mplayer, the company whose deal with ION pushed Daikatana demo players to sign up for its service, is prepping for a purchase of ION before next month's E3.
