Commandos 2: Men of Courage Screenshots

We've got brand-new images of Eidos' sequel to Commandos.

Comments

Last week, we had the chance to play an early build of Pyro Studios' upcoming Commandos 2, an action-strategy game that's played from an isometric perspective. The game is the sequel to Commandos, which was released by Eidos in 1998, and it adds a number of graphics and gameplay improvements to the original.

The most noticeable of the additions is the game's new graphics engine, which allows for complete camera control in Commandos 2's new indoor 3D environments. Additionally, the external prerendered environments can be viewed from four different locations at any given time during the gameplay, making it much easier to sneak around enemy lines without having to guess at enemy locations.

Eidos will be displaying Commandos 2 at E3 in Los Angeles this May, and the game is expected to ship around October. We'll bring you more on Commandos 2 later, but in the meantime you can take a look at the attached screenshots.
