inFamous 2 - Origins and Evolutions of a Video Game Super Hero

Sucker Punch Productions, the developer behind the critically acclaimed PS3 summer blockbuster inFamous, takes you behind the scenes in the making and evolution of superhero Cole MacGrath. Unlike most superheroes, Cole and the inFamous universe were designed from the ground up as a video game, rather than as a scripted linear book or show. Key members of the Sucker Punch team discuss how this video-game-first approach affects every aspects of the creative process -- including character designs, super powers, architecture, morality, and the narrative structure. Additionally, attendees will get a first look at the 2D graphic cut scenes from inFamous 2, as well as have an opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A.

i honestly thought Spore would be the ultimate game, after it's premises and judging by the success and originality and fun-factor of The Sims series. After the Spore semi-failure, i am much more skeptical about Maxis' games

@CptAsbjoern To be fair, it is pretty epic ;) (unfortunately, it doesn't even move fast enough to get a Splatter, so... no real point to it.) Though, at least they have a reason to be impressed - Forge World = Microsoft's take on LBP. (If only you could spawn NPC enemies in Forge, to create your own campaign...)

@Fusco1980 Little strong criticism for someone with 1980 in their username. However, the notion that Blizzard makes 'dated' games is on the right track, but pointed in the wrong direction. In my personal opinion, the fact that they haven't pushed gameplay graphics and features to something on par with Crysis (or similar titles) is so that 'computers from 1997' can run them albeit with some issues. But by doing that, they completely eliminate the "you have to constantly buy hardware" argument. Besides, it makes good money.

Heh... Is it wrong that I'm still hoping for a Rocket:Robot on Wheels easter egg in inFamous 2? Even something as subtle as an amusment park in some far-off corner of the city called "Wally World" would be epic. :\

@Skullcandy so because the graphics are dated you think its now rubbish? If you dont like the game leave it be, no one wants you there. @Fusco1980 blizzard is not known for making dated games...so the graphics are sometimes not like the next (original) supreme commander, so what? a fun game is an awesome game even if it just so happened that for some reason it was a bunch of stick men

The graphics are dated! Please WoW gods, let us move on! This game is years dead, and the dev's know it! All i want is some info on Diablo 3 so I can stop exploiting your ten free days of crap. Loved WoW in the years 2006-2008, now it's a time-killer for sad and obese surfers. Cry, cry. Give us two more years at the most and please announce WoW servers are going down! yooooooooooo it looks great but I have a bad feeling that I will automatically like one and will be bored with the rest of the spideys. I would like to be able to team up four spideys and choice which one to use an the way you can complete the mission changes the story and where you will end up in the dimensions.
