Check Out Just Cause 3's New 4K Gameplay Video

"All settings turned to overkill."

Avalanche Studios has released a new gameplay video for Just Cause 3, this one featuring resolution support for 2160p, which is four times the resolution of 1080p and is better known as 4K.

"Avalanche Studios have been busy squeezing every last drop of power out of their proprietary engine for the upcoming release of Just Cause 3," Square Enix said in a statement. "The game can be seen firing on all cylinders, with all settings turned to overkill in this video running at a 4K resolution here."

The video, which features Just Cause's signature over-the-top gameplay and destruction, no doubt looks impressive. But don't expect it to look quite this good on console, as the game renders at 1080p on PlayStation 4 and 900p on Xbox One. This video is pulled from the PC version of Just Cause 3.

The Just Cause 3 release date is set for December 1 across PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

In other Just Cause 3 news, Avalanche recently confirmed that it explored a multiplayer mode for the game, but ultimately decided to keep it a single-player-only experience...for now.
