Activision has renewed its hunting license for another year.

Due out on September 27 for the Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3, the game will ship with the Top Shot Elite plastic gun peripheral, which was first offered for last year's Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2011. The game will also be available without the peripheral.

As for the game, Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 has players exploring an expanse of mountains and valleys in search of prey. According to Activision, players will be able to explore regions by climbing or taking the low, concealed route to line up the best possible shot.

Further, the game sports dynamic weather conditions, as well as the "most realistic animals ever seen in the Cabela's series." According to Activision, each creature's distinct movements will give players a clue as to the animal's next move.

As for weapons, Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 boasts a gun locker with shotguns and various hunting rifles. Additionally, gamers will be able to purchase gear upgrades to increase their stealth capabilities.

Lastly, Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 sports new multiplayer modes, where up to four gamers can take turns shooting, hunting together, or challenging one another in arcade shooting modes.
