Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is getting campaign DLC that will take you into the mind of Claptrap, developer Gearbox has announced during its PAX South panel this morning. Gearbox didn't have more to share about DLC aside from that broad concept, but it also announced it's adding Lady Hammerlock as a playable character this week, Tuesday, January 27.

Lady Hammerlock is the sister of Sir Hammerlock, a character from Borderlands 2 and The Pre-Sequel. She's the same character some players discovered in the game's code back in October.

Gearbox said that with Lady Hammerlock, they wanted to create its best sniper character yet. She also has an ice shard action skill that freezes enemies, and another skill that can turn other players into "manservants," which benefits both players' abilities. If you have The Pre-Sequel Season Pass, you'll get Lady Hammerlock the Baroness for free.

Gearbox also announced that it's working on a patch that makes The Pre-Sequel's bosses farmable, meaning bosses will respawn so you can defeat them again for a chance to earn new guns and gear.
