Borderlands 2 Halloween-themed DLC out now

TK Baha's Bloody Harvest now available for $3 on Xbox Live, PSN, and PC.

by

Halloween-themed Borderlands 2 downloadable expansion Headhunter 1: TK Baha's Bloody Harvest is available today on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in North America for $3.

The expansion, the first of multiple Headhunter add-ons, will be available for PS3 in Europe and Oceania tomorrow, October 23.

In TK Baha's Bloody Harvest, players will seek out the pieces of a key that will lead them into the heart of the Pumpkin Kingpin's pumpkin patch where they will battle against the Kingpin himself.

Throughout the DLC, players will find "augmented candy," which will drop from enemies and provide temporary player buffs, ranging from faster movement speed to increased damage.

Borderlands 2 originally released in September 2012. It has since shipped over 7 million copies and is on pace to become the highest-selling title in the history of 2K. A Game of the Year Edition was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 8.

Gotta love how people are bitching about something that they're probably not even playing anymore... So what if they keep releasing new content, even after the GOTY edition? If you don't like it, just move along and deal with it, it's just that simple.

Unless of course, you're a goddamn cheapskate idiot with a sense of  self-entitlement, thinking you deserve everything for free.

P.S: Nobody is forcing you to buy it

This won't stop until gaming sites stop giving them free promotion for every minor and unsubstantial update they ask money for.

I bought the GOTY Edition (Yeah, that's right I waited.) I'll assume the crybaby assholes are the ones who weren't patient enough to wait.

Has this game got the title for most DLC released yet? Makes sense they would support and make new things for this game seeing how it's pretty much all they have done right for a long while.

Don't think of it as a cheap DLC.  Think that you are giving them funding for Borderlands 3.

I think they should do a "Hey Ash, Whatcha playing?" episode on excessive DLC.

Having bought the game, the season pass a couple months later and another 5 bucks for a lvl 72 cap upgrade, I can say that I'm completely done with this DLC milking.  The season pass was to include all DLC or so I was lead to believe by the way they worded back when they announced it.  Now my desire to continue playing this game with my buddies is overwritten by my frustration of what appears an attempt to grab three more bucks off as many of their 7 million customers they can.  Fuck you marketing division, fuck you very much.

More Borderlands is always okay with me.

People are bitching way too much about this. But then again it is Gamespot and most of the community consists of idiots so I don't know why I'm surprised..

This DLC isn't very good, it's about 15 -30 minutes long. it's only €3, so you get for what you pay for.

I love holiday themed DLC, I wish more games would do it.  Killing floor had a Halloween and xmas event for the past few years for free.

Have the Gearbox team ever considered transferring to a dairy farm?

They should consider what experts they are at milking things.

I'm confused. Is it $3 for a whole new set of quests, bosses, and items (which is a great price), or am I just being charged for a small portion of the overall expansion and I'm expected to pay $3 again for the rest of the DLC later (which is totally lame)?

Buy it, guys, buy it quick. If you don't buy it, you suck! Go buy more DLC so they know gamers want even more DLC, for you, to have.

Is it just me or does this game have 100 DLCs now?

This game has so much content, I can't finish it all!

@n0xinab0x You can't assume that on the internet, but your assumption shows that you still believe people have a more or less legitimate reason for whining. Apart from the freedom of speech, there is also a freedom to whine no matter the reason.

@Tuckpoint Whoa, be careful, cause you might not have enough money to buy food and drinks by the end of the year, if you  think 3 bucks is too much to pay for. (you're not even forced to buy it anyways)

@Tuckpoint wow.. well.. Please be advised that nothing is free but the air we breathe~

and unfortunately, they did specify what contents the season pass provided (four expansions)

it's like buying a pre-order where you are gifted certain things early, while later, the game of the version bundles it all up..

anyway, did you feel the discounted price (season pass for 4 dlc) was worth it? maybe they should of just called it the 4dlc discount, 4-D-D, f2d, or whatever

personally I never buy early, except for rare gems like skyrim, and I always go for game of the year bundles~ I'm still waiting before I by borderlands 2 for that entire reason

@Tuckpoint I understand where you're at, but the game did come out a while ago.  At least they're not selling a "season 2 pass".

@kerrman Yeah well, people with opinions and critical thinking are usualy like that. And a danger to economy, I might add. But hey, if you're "duh, more boldelads? okay with guh.. me! yaayy, i did it, gahhahagahups i pooped myself" then we should all be like you and like only what you like, because you are so... special.

@Sidburn19 I never rely on how long other people say something is, I usually take a longer time to get through it. Replayability is a better factor, I think. I don't want to buy something that will lose its appeal after 3 times. Anyway, I tend to try mods before DLC, they're free and usually quite many and quite good

@Sidburn19 Oh that was disappointing, I was expecting a full-long DLC like Tiny Tina's....

@djpetitte Yeah the KF holiday DLC, well I guess technically it's more of an update, is always so awesome. The maps are badass. It just sucks that you can't use the holiday character models year round. Not to mention you can easily pick that game up for $5 to $10.

Hurvl

@billzihang Yeah, Borderlands seems a lot like Bordair(y)lands when you look at all the DLC available.

Eraldus

@Hurvl @n0xinab0x Developers are trying to make money for thenselves, OMG, they are such jerks for creating more additional content for an awesome game.

Hurvl

@xsonicchaos @kerrman There are a lot of opinons here, but I often don't see any critical thinking. Intentional misinterpretations and insults like your comment is more common than critical thinking.

@grbolivar They've stated waaaaaaay back that the next DLCs wouldn't be as big as the previous ones.

ColdstoneX3

@grbolivar considering when the last DLC came out, i didnt expect this to be a full fledged expansion....but this was just kind of...lame, you get what you pay for as Sidburn said
