The second chunk of the two-part BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea DLC will be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on March 25, developer Irrational Games has announced.

The release date follows a tweet by Irrational Games chief Ken Levine's saying that Burial at Sea Episode 2 would be significantly longer than its predecessor.

Levine said that a completionist player--someone looking to rummage through absolutely everything in BioShock Infinite's take on underwater city Rapture--would take between five and six hours.

That could be enough time to play through Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes three times!

A common complaint from players of Burial at Sea Episode 1 was that it was too short, with many players finishing it off in 90 minutes or less.

"Burial at Sea seems a prime example of the tail wagging the dog, and the result is an adventure with fantastic sights and sounds that don't come together in a meaningful way," said GameSpot's Kevin Van Ord in his 5/10 review of Episode 1. Can Episode 2 bring in a higher score?

Irrational Games recently released a video showcasing the opening of Episode 2, which you can watch below. But be warned: it's riddled with spoilers.
