Fallout and Skyrim publisher Bethesda will for the first time host its own press conference at E3 this year.
The heightened publicity expected from the briefing suggests that Bethesda has more to share at this year's event than normal, or that it believes its games on display will be higher profile. Rumours of the long-awaited Fallout 4 project have circulated for more than two years, while the publisher is believed to still be supporting the Doom 4 project, which is now more simply titled as Doom.
Bethesda's press conference will fall on Sunday, June 14, which comes one day ahead of Microsoft's traditional opening press conference.
By convention, Microsoft's Monday conference is followed by EA, Ubisoft, and Sony media briefings on the same day. On the Tuesday, Nintendo tends to close the press conference segment of the show.
Bethesda did not provide any further details on what it has planned for E3.
