Electronic Arts is helping gamers satisfy their need to expand their bloodlust with the Warsome Booster Pack for the Xbox version of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat. The new add-on will include three new maps--a new take on Wake Island, the "wilds of the Middle East," and the snowcapped landscape of China. The pack also adds new vehicles, such as attack snowmobiles, and skins for characters. The holiday spirit is apparently with the publisher, which is giving the pack away for free via Xbox Live on December 22--a $9.99 value, according to EA.

damnit... why isn't this 360 compatable... I don't want to play it on my Xbox... I want to play it on my 360... or bring out the 360 game alread and f' the stupid single player! Just give us the multiplayer EA! The PS2 wont get them because only like 5 people besides me have the HDD
Let's face it: no matter how good these new maps are, too many people will still vote to play Backstab and Bridge Too Far.
Oh ya, Ive noticed that every store that has a 360 display, like walmart, circuit city, eb games etc., has the console unplugged. Hmmmmm could there be some overheating issues ?? I think so.
Why do you care about 360 ?? You cant find any consoles to play it on. Screw Bill Gates !! By the time you can buy one over the counter Ps3 will be here. Leave it to Microsoft to screw up a launch. Some friggin merry Christmas for a lot of pissed off gamers.
Where does EA get this $10 value from? It's great they are not charging for it but it's hilarious they think 3 maps are worth 10 bucks...
My momma didnt raise no fool !! If its free, Im there !! New vehicle snowmobiles sound pretty gosh darned friggin good. New maps are good but there are a couple of maps online that are still rarely played. Oh well, the more the merrier. Merry Christmas !!
i'm glad I got the PC version, not even EA is stupid nough to say that map packs are worth anything on the PC. The only reason any company could get away with charging on the Xbox and 360 is cause there are no map editors.
IT'S FREE! THEY ARE SAYING THAT IF THEY DID CHARGE FOR IT, IT WOULD BE WORTH 10 DOLLARS! BUT IT'S FREE!!!
Who cares if they are good, they are free, anything free is good, except a rabie infested tiger. I don't think I would want one of those for free.
Download the map pack on December 22nd for free...otherwise it'll be priced at $10. Reading comprehension is a good skill to learn.
