Australian eSports organisation the Australian Cyber League (ACL) will be launching its second live event for the 2013 season this weekend.

Named Plantronics ACL Melbourne, the event will be hosted over August 10-11 at La Trobe University in Melbourne.

Game tournaments featured include League of Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm, with a total prize pool of $18,000. Players who wish to compete in the Call of Duty: Black Ops II and Starcraft II: Heart of the Swarm tournaments can register via the ACL website. Entries close today.

The League of Legends tournament is by invitation only, and sees 16 of Australia and New Zealand's best teams compete against one another for a $12,000 prize pool.

Spectating at the venue is free. Fans who are not able to attend can keep up with the event via the Twitch live stream. More details can be found at the ACL pro website.
