Aussie game charts: October 20-26

Fable II debuts at number one down under.

For the first time in a month, Wii Fit has been knocked off of the top spot of the Australian game charts, with the honours going to the Xbox 360-exclusive Fable II. The last game to knock down Wii Fit was Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, which held the champion place for only one week.

Although not claiming the charts, Wii Fit still managed to snag a very respectful position, at number two, for the week of October 20 to 26. The Wii Play and Wii Remote bundle also dropped down one, into third place. Not all first-party Nintendo games dropped in the chart, given that Mario Kart Wii held strong at number four. Far Cry 2 did exceptionally well, claiming fifth, sixth, and seventh places with the 360, PC, and PlayStation 3 versions of the game, respectively. Saints Row 2 on the 360 claimed the eighth position, whereas the PS3 version can be found just below it in ninth. Finishing off the week in 10th place is Lego Batman.
