AU Shippin' Out April 19-23: Nier

Save your daughter and cure a plague in Square Enix's latest release.

Fabled Japanese developer Square Enix is on the verge of releasing its latest franchise, Nier, just under a year after it was announced. Nier tells the story of a father trying to find a cure for his daughter who has been stricken by a mysterious disease known as the Black Scrawl. Keep an eye out for Nier when it's released this Thursday on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

If role-playing games aren't really your thing, then perhaps Dead to Rights: Retribution is for you. The story revolves around police officer Jack Slate and his dog Shadow as they enforce the law, 9mm at a time, in an attempt to stamp out crime in the fictional municipality of Grant City. Throughout the game, you'll swap between the two characters, with Jack focusing more on run-and-gun gameplay, while Shadow's sections are stealthier. Dead to Rights: Retribution is due out this Friday for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

I was thinking NIER was a must buy, but then I watched a few trailers and thought again.

I'll give Silent Hill: SM, Nier, Dead to Rights: Retribution and Way of the Samurai 3 a rental. Samurai Shodown Sen, I'm not too sure about.

I don't know if I gonna buy NIER yet, becouse I'm not much of RPG. But the game looks good, with median graphs, but the story is what promisses. The Japanese always bring us incredible stories. For more, just seeing.
