Microsoft has today announced that as the beta testing for Asheron's Call 2: Fallen Kings nears completion, players are to be treated to a special end-of-beta episode, which will begin tomorrow and run until November 3. This episode will afford the testers their first glimpse of the dynamic gameworld that all players will be able to experience for themselves when the game arrives in stores next month.

Among the surprises in store for the citizens of Dereth tomorrow are a number of new kingdom fortresses, a bloodred sky, and areas of Dereth being overrun by fierce creatures, including dragonlike tyrants. The end-of-beta event will also introduce some new and upcoming features, such as rideable mounts.

Asheron's Call 2: Fallen Kings, the sequel to Asheron's Call , which was released in 1999, is scheduled for release on November 22. For more information, check out our Asheron's Call of the game.
