AquaNox 2, Cold Zero, Chaser go gold

Encore announces that three of its JoWood-produced games are ready to ship later this month.

Encore, the US publisher of a number of JoWood's games, has announced that AquaNox 2: Revelation, Cold Zero, and Chaser have gone gold and are expected to reach store shelves before the end of August. All three games will have a retail price of around $40.

"This product launch marks the first time that Encore has released three frontline games at the same time," said Michael Bell, Encore's CEO. "We are pleased with the excellent feedback and strong commitments we have received from game buyers, and we are enthusiastic about the potential for these titles."

"Partnering with Encore was the final step in bringing our games to the US market," said Andreas Tobler, CEO of JoWood Productions. "We've spent years crafting these titles, and are very proud of their quality and gameplay. We are also excited about the strong retail, marketing, and PR programs Encore has put together for them, and have high expectations for their success in the retail market."

AquaNox 2 is an underwater action game that puts players in control of one of several types of futuristic and highly maneuverable submarines. Cold Zero is a third-person action game that focuses on a private investigator who is down on his luck and gets involved in some serious action.Chaser is a first-person shooter set in the year 2044 that puts players in the role of John Chaser, who suffers from amnesia at the start of the game but will eventually make his way through an adventure spanning locations including ruined cities, space stations, and Mars.
