Microsoft recently revealed the second wave of games that will be added to Xbox Game Pass on PC and Xbox One in October, and several of those are available today, October 15. Chief among them is a brand-new release, as real-time strategy game Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition officially launches today and is available right out of the gate on Game Pass.

A remaster of the 2005 game, Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition features a 4K resolution upgrade, a fully remastered soundtrack, two new game modes, all previously released expansions, and two new civilizations, the Swedes and Inca, to play as. It's a PC-only game, and it's also available on Steam for $20 if you'd prefer to buy it there.
