Acclaim Ships Machines
Acclaim's newest action/strategy game, Machines, is now on the way to a store near you.
Acclaim announced Monday that its newest action-strategy game, Machines, is now shipping.
Developed by Charybdis, Machines features real-time strategy action from multiple camera angles (including first person), Internet gameplay via the MSN Gaming Zone, 50 different machines, 25 different weapons, and resource management.
"Machines demonstrates Acclaim's commitment to PC gaming, and adds another high-quality product to our growing lineup of PC games," said Don Jackson, PC product manager at Acclaim. "The developers at Charybdis have taken the real-time strategy genre to a whole new level."
"Machines is the next step in the evolution of real-time strategy games," said Noah Ullman, marketing manager for Acclaim. "We've included features that set Machines apart from the rest of the crowd. A great example of this is the ability to control your machines from a first- or third-person perspective."
