Probe founder is on the move.

Comments

Probe Entertainment founder Fergus McGovern will be leaving Probe and its parent company Acclaim this coming June. It is assumed that he and several other designers from Probe will leave to start a new company.

Probe is best known for Die Hard Trilogy (PS/Sat), Extreme G (N64), and its 16-bit home conversions of Mortal Kombat and Mortal Kombat II. Among the titles it is currently developing are Forsaken (PS/N64/PC), Batman & Robin (PS), and Extreme G 2 (N64).

Acclaim's Mike Meyers responded to the news with the comment, "We have consolidated operation of our studios, and now all the studios are under the heading of Jeff Spangenberg, including Probe."
