The Final Fantasy 7 Remake Materia Hunter Board Game launches on July 31, but preorders have already started (and sold out).

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth has already claimed a spot as one of the most popular games of 2024, thanks to its emotional story, engaging combat, and heaps of content to explore. It's built on the foundation laid by Final Fantasy 7 Remake--and if you're itching for more Final Fantasy 7 content, consider taking a look at the Final Fantasy 7 Remake: Materia Hunter Board Game. It doesn't launch until July 31, but preorders went live earlier today.

The game itself sounds plenty interesting, as it’s a competitive experience designed for up to four players. You'll be split into teams (1v1 or 2v2) as you jump into the shoes of iconic Final Fantasy 7 characters and battle to collect the most Materia.

All your favorite characters are up for grabs, including Cloud, Tifa, Sephiroth, Barret, and Aerith, among others. Each character comes with their own unique playstyle--lending plenty of replayability to the board game. Matches are fast, running for about 20-30 minutes.

Remember, this item is selling out fast. We'd highly recommend anyone interested checks back on the listing a few times a day, as Amazon isn't saying when its inventory will be restocked. That means you'll need to be on your toes if you want to reserve a copy for launch day.

While you're at Amazon, take a look at the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth: Amazon Edition. This exclusive edition includes the base game and a free Rebirth PS5 controller skin, so if you don't have the game yet, this is a great way to get a bit of free swag with your purchase.
