"Extreme" workout program available now, includes five custom routines to help you get "completely ripped."

Microsoft today rolled out the full P90X "extreme" workout program for Xbox Fitness on Xbox One, allowing you to skip the gym and work out in the comfort of your living room. The program, which costs $60 (and does not include free weights and bands that some exercises require), features five custom-made routines "designed to get you completely ripped."

The interactive workout is led by P90X creator Tony Horton. As you can see in the video above, the workout uses Kinect to monitor your form. Microsoft says in a post on the Xbox Wire that in mid-August, it will roll out a downloadable calendar and nutrition plan to help you out on your fitness quest. Some P90X workouts were already available on Xbox Fitness, but now the entire regimen is available to download.

Horton is not the only well-known fitness personality to partner with Microsoft for Xbox Fitness. Others include Jillian Michaels and Tracy Anderson, and the Insanity program is also available through Xbox Fitness. Using Kinect, Xbox Fitness can measure your power and heart rate.

In January, Microsoft announced that Xbox One users had already completed more than 1.5 million workouts through Xbox Fitness.
