Army Men: Sarges War review
In this game you take control of Sarge, the best the green army has to offer, and take on the tan army in a quest for revenge.
Single player was surprisingly good. Not the story, the gameplay. Not a bad story, though, I suppose. As far as toy soldier games go...
Multiplayer is another story. The lack of bots is frustrating, for one, but a lot of shooters don't have bots for some stupid reason. Another thing is that you don't play as green and tan, you play as team colors. Not so bad, but weird.
So I'll move onto the breakdown now.
The Good
*Playing as toy soldiers is strangely fun
*Nostalgia
The Bad
*I don't know... There's just something missing from gameplay, I can't quite place it though
*No bots on multiplayer
*No co-op
The Just Plain Ugly
*Sometimes has a bit of a rollercoaster difficulty on singleplayer
*Horrible graphics
*Choppy animations
Graphics: Bad (4)
Gameplay: Decent. (6)
Sound: The sound quality is pretty poor (5)
Story: I guess it's alright, considering the fact that you are toy soldiers (6)
Multiplayer: (4)
Re-playability: Low. (4)
Overall: In the end, Sarge's War is decent game if you want to play a shooter and it has to be appropriate for a younger audience. (4.8)
