You may think catching ape's is a bad idea,but this game will definately prove you wrong.

This game is the best game i had on ps1,till it somehow got scratched (probably wasn't keeping it right). You play as Spike,some kid and you are supposed to catch ape's and it sound's repetitive right? Well in the means of catching ape's it is,but in the design of the levels makes you ignore the fact that your goal is only to catch all the ape's in that level. You have some sort of sword that is used in the game to stun ape's and to kill enemies (if you rotate the right analog stick you will spin the sword in a circle around yourself (Spike will spin with the sword so he will do an attack i like to call the Lethal Twister (and there's no name for that attack) the game has cool gadgets too (my favorite is that sort of boxing glove on a spring)and adds variety to the game's levels cause you will use a gadget/s in almost every level and will probably need that/those gadget/s to catch some monkey's. It's my favorite PS1 game and still is today. It's overall a score of 10 and a must buy for people who love PS1 games or people just looking for a 3D Platformer that's something different - a fresh idea.
