It's time to go bananas once again with those crazy monkeys.
The story begins as Spike , Natalie , Casi and the Professor are taking part in a tournament within a new virtual world there each of them are battling to see who will be the next champion as last year's winner a girl named Helga is also in it along with everyones favorite monkeys and a new group of three colored apes that look like they are up to no good then everything really goes wrong when a character called Grid Core appears to take over the world but first creates his own tournament that if you lost then you really are doomed to be trapped in the virtual world forever so now the battle for first place along with your survival is on.
This game is alot different then the games before it as this one is based on many mini games for many players on a Playstation 2 system to play but to me it kist didn't feel like a true game to the series as they were based on Specter trying to take over the world and capturing all the monkeys as I really enjoyed that but with this one it just didn't feel right as it does have a few features like being able to play as many characters other then Spike , the gadgets return and that everyone can use them , if you score good in certain games you can get fan mail or even a prize and you can unlock new characters to play and you can do battle with Jake and Specter just like in the very first game and one other thing to say is to be careful as the first part of the game is easy but once the virus tournament begins then that's when it gets to be really hard.
I really didn't like this game as I am a fan of the series but I kinda enjoy the old style of catching monkeys with gadgets and really make Specter's day just wrong by messing up his plans but there are fans that do enjoy party type games so that is all right so the choice is yours to buy or not.
