I don't do reviews usually, but this game really makes me want to write down something. I never played the previous Anno games, but this one is simply amazing. The game-play is complicated, the graphic is gorgeous, and the music is breathtaking. There are lots of things to do in this game, from trying to find the best configurations to place your buildings to diplomacy and warfare. The save & load option between single-player and multi-player mitigates the fact that this game takes quite a long time. You can participate in voting and World Events, and it really make you feel immersed into this game. Ubisoft DRM policy is a minus, but to me, it is not enough to prevent you from getting this game. Please buy this to support Blue Byte because this game is ambitious and I think it succeeds in delivering new innovative contents but also make old Anno players feel welcomed.
