A defenite back track from PG or WW, but it's still great fun

User Rating: 8 | Machi e Ikouyo: Doubutsu no Mori WII
This game is annoyingly similar to it's counterparts, but the same formula proves to be fun once again using Wii controls.

Graphics: 7.0/10

This game has never had great graphics, and they aren't a huge step up on the Wii. This has never really effected the gameplay as the graphics are meant to be cartoonish and cute.

Sounds: 8.0/10

Many people dislike the background music in this game, although I tend to disagree. The music in the original Animal Crossing for GameCube was outstanding and hard to top, but the music in this game is recycled from Wild World for the DS. They could've at least created some new songs. The rest of the music is from the original game and is great as usual.

Gameplay: 9.0/10

While the city is extremely dissapointing and is more of a plaza, the gameplay in City Folk manages to remain as addictive and fun as before. Whether you are catching bugs, fishing, selling fossils or just chatting with some neighbors, this game always has something to do.

Replay Value: 10/10

Any Animal Crossing game can't get less than a 10 in replay value. The main goal of the game makes you come back day after day to experience holidays, see what is new and just progress your town. My original town from the GameCube version has been played on since 2004 and continues to survive to this date.

Overall: 8.0/10

If you are a fan of the series or have never played AC before, I would defenitely reccomend this one. The controls are good and it's still a very fun game. But, if you are checking this out looking for an upgrade, then I would warn you that you will be dissapointed.
