If you say this game deserves a low score, you probably haven't play/ don't like Deux Ex.

After seeing others reviewing this game, I have to say that a game like this doesn't deserve a bad score, that's because it's actually a deep game that I'm pretty sure is equivalent or better compared to the old fusion RPG game Deux Ex in terms of how you want to play the game and what decisions you will make. You know how that game is, hated when you have low levels or doesn't like the ugly graphics but favoured once you know how it works.

Story is very well constructed and branched. There are 3 selections of dialogue you can make when talking to someone: be professional like Jason Bourne, be flirty and easy going like James Bond or be straight to the point like, well, like that main character from 24. These 3 JB's options can affect how each person you talk to will react to you in the future and it's actually very true to the characters if you know how they all are. The choices you will make are also interesting and very intriguing, because every decision you make will affect what will happen in the future. EG: do you want to kill a terrorist or cooperate with him because he will give you information, do you want to save the woman you love or save thousands before a bomb explode and so on.

Presentation is quite interesting. The first time you played the game you may say that the graphics are not up to other games, but as the game progresses, you will realize that the graphic is actually good once you get used to it. I'm not really a fan of graphics like Gears Of War, Batman and those other stuffs cause in the end gameplay is what matters the most, but I do believe the graphic here is not "ancient" like a PS2 game. Music is great as well, particularly when you are talking to an enemy right in front of you but you can't do anything to him at the moment from one of the missions in the game or just fighting enemies. Good tension.

Gameplay, now this is the thing that got me hooked up since the beginning and makes me want to replay the game again. Before you start the game, you will be given a choice on who you want to be: a soldier, a freelancer and the other 2 that is already specified. However, you can choose the 5th option, be a recruit so that you can choose what you want to be once you level up: a sneaky guy, rambo, bruce lee or whatever you want, just like Deux Ex. After you finish with recruit, the veteran option will be available, making re playability much more fun. When you play in the beginning you may feel that the game has a bad AI, but if you do, you have been fooled. As the level progresses, the AI will eventually get smarter because the dossiers that has been given to you will list how well the group you are fighting against are in combat. The better the report, the more dangerous they will be. How you deal with these people is entirely up to you. I like it more when I'm using Kenpo, it's quick and stylish, but this will work best if the level is higher cause in the beginning the movements are limited. Forgot to mention that you can either kill or just beat up your enemies in combat. In the end of the mission you can either be praised for not killing the enemies or be nagged because you do. That only happens if you are facing US agents though, or some other important group.

Overall this is quite an amazing game that I'm surprised other people doesn't get or just not up to their taste. I think if the guy reviewing this rates Deux Ex, I bet he will give that game a same score as well, or lower. Oh, how reviewer's creative minds have fallen down. So if you like action RPG games, add this to your collection.
