Great Game, an overly harsh review by Gamespot
The graphics are sharp with plenty of detail. The weapons are varied and enjoyable to use and the sound effects have been well sampled.
It's possible that I am being overly sympathetic to this title due to my love of the genre but quite honestly I really don't understand why Gamespot has given it such a low score.
I nearly didn't by this game because of this but I'm glad that I did and I encourage anybody that is sitting on the fence to give it a try.
Gamespot: Has somebody at Rebellion or Sega upset you by any chance? because your scoring on this one is way out. I usually find your reviews and scores extremely fair and accurate but will think twice about using your site as a reference for what games to buy after your obvious down-marking of this great title.
