Alien Trilogy isn't close to what you'd expect after playing AvsP on the Jaguar!
I don't want to compare this game to the far better Alien vs Predator on the Atari Jaguar. You only can play as a marine here, while you get to play as a marine, alien, or the predator on the Jaguar.
Graphics - The levels are all dark and creepy, totally making it feel like you're in a spooky spaceship. All the enemies are 2D, and when a facehugger jumps on you you can just see the mess of pixels. Not the prettiest but they are effective none the less.
Gameplay - If you've played one old school style FPS, you've basiclly played them all. It has all the bacis weapons but the smart rifle is the coolest.
Controls - Run around and shoot aliens, facehuggers, infected people, hell you can shoot people stuck to the walls. That gets coolness points!
Sound - What do you expect from the Alien movie series. Scary and creepy as hell!
Overall - If you love the movie or love FPS give this game a try. Just remember Alien Trilogy isn't close to what you'd expect after playing AvsP on the Jaguar. But if you want the best Alien experince possible even by 2006 standards, it's strange to say but you better find a Jaguar.
