Good First-Person Shooting game. If you can handle a few repeated missions, then this game is worth getting.

User Rating: 7.3 | Alien Trilogy SAT
Gameplay: This is your basic shooting game, where you walk around in a small world and walk through hallyways and enter different rooms. Probe's Alien Trilogy is based on the Alien movies, so fans of the movies will like this. Most of the missions are basic, such as destroy as much aliens as possible, or turn off all the gas tanks, or defeat the queen alien. All the missions feature different types of enemies and weapons, so be sure to know which alien can be killed easily with a certain weapon. The game itself isn't hard, but there are a few missions that can be a pain. There more then 30 missions in the game, with a few that are based of the Alien movies. The game can be addictive, but after you beat the game, there's not much else to enjoy, except play the game and some of the missions again. There's nothing turely oringinal about Alien Trilogy, but its still an addictive shooting game that works well for both the Playstation and Saturn. Graphics: I never played the Playstation version of Alien Trilogy, so I'll just compare the graphics to other Saturn games. The graphics are pretty okay for a Saturn game. When you play the game, you'll encounter many 2D Sprites in the 3D world. There are some sprites that look very pixeled, but other then that, the graphics for Alien Trilogy are average for a Saturn game. Of course, this game doesn't look too good compared to Halo or such, but it IS an old game. One thing I like about this game is the atmosphere and the feel of how it looks. Sound: The music in this game has a horror and mysterious feel. The music definitly fits in with a type of game like this. The game's music is, at times, a bit scary, as if you're all alone. Listening to the music at night is best recommended if you want Alien Trilogy to sound a little scary and heart thumping. Overall a very nice musical score. The sound effects are really good also. Some of the sound effects have been ripped from Aliens, the movie. This makes the game sound movie-like. The voices in the cutscenes do not match the actors voices from the first 3 movies, nor do they sound good. But, thankfully, the voice acting isn't common, so it can be ignored. Conclusion: There could have been some extras in this game to make it more addictive, but its still a pretty decent shooting game. The most disapointing thing is that this game is 1 player only. So you can't really enjoy this game with a friend like you maybe do with Halo or Perfect Dark. The game is great, regardless of its minor flaws. So anyone with a Saturn or Playstation that like Shooting games would do well to pick this game up. Pros: -Good FPS gameplay -Nice music for the eerie atmosphere -Cool weapons Cons: -A little too short. -The game lacks in replay value -No 2P mode.
