Those who liked Alien movies should definitely play this game. Those who like good games should most definitely play it!
Great sound design, great atmosphere, solid story, lengthy campaign. 6/10 from Kevin makes as much sense as 8/10 to TLoU from Tom. The arguments that Kevin brought up are so irrelevant to the overall experience that I'm really surprised GS did not changed the way they validate reviews after this one and let Kevin review The Order. Great Kevin somehow cannot get over the fact that not all games are RPG...
You play as an engineer. So no "run and gun". No constant waves of new enemies. No easy way out. You need to be careful as in Demon Souls, resourceful as in Resident Evil, patience as in Metal Gear Solid. Very little of your deaths will be a result of the games fault but you will die. A lot.
This game is definitely worth playing. Since Dead Space I have not had such a great time with survival horror game. For me Alien: Isolation and Shadow of Mordor are two the best games that came out over the last year.
