A fun 2_D side scroller that offers a good challenge.

Alien Hominid is a strange game. It was made by the guys that made Castle Crashers, and if you have played Castle Crashers you will notice that there are a bunch of notices during the load screens that tell you to buy this game. Even at the end of Castle Crashers, they thank everyone Who bought Alien Hominid, and they give you the character Alien Hominid in Castle Crashers if you bought Alien Hominid. Also, one of the levels in Castle Crashers has you fight a bunch of Alien Hominids. By now you get my point. Alien Hominid is from the makers of Castle Crashers. It came out way before Castle Crashers and was a good game, and it might of been part of the reason why Castle Crashers was so popular when it came out. Alien Hominid is a 2-D side scroller shooter similar to Metal Slug and Contra. It is a ton of bloody fun, and I'm going to tell you what I think about this in the next few paragraphs.

The story goes that you are an Alien. You crash land on earth, and your ship is taken away. This is the reason to grab your gun and go blow the Sh** out of ever thing that moves. This game is full of blood and violence. The story is also really fun, and will have you laughing at some of the strange things that happens on screen.

This game controls a lot like Metal Slug. You shoot everything on screen, pick up weapon upgrades, save these people that give you stuff. It is really simple controls.

One thing about this game is that it is really hard. I had to turn down the difficulty to beat this game, because, it was so darn hard. This game is a challenge.

Now there is co op in this game, which can be really fun to play, and works really well. Though that still doesn't make this game much easier.

This graphics in this game are flash graphics. They look good and are well designed.

The Sound is also good, and some of the music is catchy.

Overall this is a challenging game experience that everyone should give a try if you like these types of games.
