An interesting game. Good graphic, interesting enemies, but story same time boring

The graphic design is great no doubt, but unfortunately this game utilizes the Unreal Engine, which makes everything look very brownish and have loads of texture pop-in as well as blurry textures overall, making the game look a lot worse than it deserves.

Sound quality is rather good though. The voice acting and sound effect are nothing special, but do their job. The music is great though, and fits the tone of the game perfectly. It is unfortunate then that it is repeated so much over the course of the game that you will grow tired of it.
So much jumping it actually drives you crazy. Not because you don't like to jump or anything. But jumping lacks any complexity. Take for example Assassins Creed there you can hang on to edges and when you are in danger of jumping too close to the other edge the character pulls back a bit. Here jumping is nothing more than flying in the air struggling to land on some domino piece, cliff or mushroom. And that is really annoying because with a lot of jumping you get a lot of falling. So having to do one sequence several times is annoying especially when you cant save.

The story as a whole feels very confusing. I didn't play the first game which might be the cause of it, but they could really have tried a bit harder to get me up to speed with the events. Characters that I am apparently supposed to know pop up every so often, with Alice engaging in conversations I have no idea what they are about.
