My 12yr. old daughter played almost all of this game which is the reason i bought it so if you have a kid who likes 3rd per. action games this is one to pick up also it doesn't hurt that you can buy it for under $10 . It's not a bad game it playes well and the controls are not to bad ,every once in a while Alex gets turned around when trying to fight and starts punching and kicking air thats when you get pummeld by merchs. but overall she fights good and has a few good moves of her own you also get guns but they are not very potent sometimes it takes eight shots to drop a guy other times they go down with two shots and you only get a few rounds per gun thats it but you can also pick up weapons like knives, brooms and so fourth. So overal combat isn't to bad i just wish the guns had more ammo .
As far as health goes Alex just replenishes her health on her own ,her health meter generaly rises over time.Theres not a lot of levels in the game but there long and you'll be running mostly but now and then you'll be climing into vents but you never really get lost or are really at a loss of where to go cause you get a map that shows green dots of where you need to be.Also there is a lot of save points in the game which is nice so if you die which wont happen much (the game is pretty easy) you dont have start at the begining level .The graphics are -ok- i seen much better i guess theres just not much detail and it has a grainy look to it.Overall if you find it in the bargin bin pick it up,your 10-13yr. old will enjoy it .
