This was the first Master System game I owned and played, and one of the best ever released. The best of the Alex Kidd series by far, this is a simple, but fun and challenging platform game that will take a fair while to get through.

The visuals are good for the time the game was released, but the sound is sadly quite infuriating. This doesn't detract from the rock bashing fun at all though, and the rock, paper, scissors game is a nice break from the action.

Various modes of transport are available, such as the suisi boat, the motorbike and the can of flight, some which can be bought in the convenient little shop which pops up at the beginning of certain levels.

Enemies are tough, the levels are varied, and the controls tight. This great platform adventure still hold a place in my heart twenty years later, and is still plays great today.
