Although very fun. This DLC was very short and caught me off guard.

User Rating: 7 | Alan Wake: The Writer X360
The Writer makes since and fits into the whole game. Some said this was the final DLC that ended the game. Yet there are still some odd questions not answered, and Zane says some stuff that leaves you hanging. There will be another DLC or Alan Wake 2 for sure. This DLC starts from where the first one did. Only this time you are still in the dark place, but you've relized that your in a dream and your controlling everything. So the world starts to fall apart. You have to reach yourself in the cabin, but you really never know the ending. The Writer was filled with cool effects and tripy levels you would expect them to make. There are two things I really disliked about this DLC.

1. way to short. it took me less than an hour, or so it felt like.
2. When jumping from objects (play and see) you seem to get stuck a lot and fall and die. This makes it very frustrating when I was trying to get the achievement for never dying.

So, the question is, is this DLC worth around $10....honestly no it is not, BUT if you love Alan Wake then you should get it

7 out of 10
