You will not get better value for your money with this game. It is extremely long for the genre.

Airforce Delta Storm is one of them games that engrosses you with hours upon hours of gameplay in huge, photorealistic maps. Missions based upon air, ground and sea keep you wanting to play more to see what the next area looks like. In between the 60+ missions there are areas that you need to clear of Air or land threats, making this game last a very long time. All in all, there are over a hundred scenarios in which you must complete. There is something to be said about flying up 10,000 feet+ looking down and seeing a break in the clouds revealing the land below. My stomach got butterflies as It almost felt like I was up there for real. Graphics are a marvel. While there is some draw-in, it never distracts you from some of the best graphics to date on the system. Cities are lit up at night, water shows off sparkling beauty and the lighting is jaw-dropping. The aircraft models are all made from blueprints of the real craft and look almost real when viewed in replays. The land looks to be photomapped as from a high altitude they look very real but up close are a little pixelized. You have missions where you fly in and out of various structures and those where you are chasing down incoming nukes which really show off the games visuals. Enough cant be said about the visual department as there is so much to see in each and every map. Ambient sounds are very well done. The music is very Top Gun inspired, which is perfect for the game. Though it loses a few points for no custom soundtracks. I wouldve loved to plug in the Top Gun soundtrack. This game is a huge value for the money. It is probably the longest game in the genre of flight combat. Finishing it can literally take 30-60 hours. I really have no clue as to whether I am near the end or not and dont care to find out. It is that much fun to play. If you can find this game, buy it. It is very enjoyable for every second you spend playing it.
