Age of Empires 3 The Asian Dynasties is a very interesting game because it focuses in on the most interesting countries this world has seen. The newest empires are China India and Japan each of them is amazingly unique and deadly. When you first play as the chinese the idea of banner armies is really confusing but after a few games you'll be able to play like a pro. India is probably more frustrating because you need a big economy so you can support elephants. That's right you can now run people over with elephants. For Japan you again need a big economy so you can summon your deadly samurai warriors. The scale of new changes is just amazing. Saloons let you train mercenaries instead of shipping them in. And the asian consulates allow European soldiers to join your army. I hated the original campaign but the new campaigns are great. They focus more on history than some crap about a fountain that was already destroyed. Even the strange chinese campaign does have some roots in history. The only thing I didn't like about the campaign was there version of Sekigahara. They took my favorite battle of all time and ruined it. It was fun just painful to see how they disgraced Tokugawas legendary commanding skill. Overall this is a fun game and if you like a city building rts this game is for you.
