Age of Empires II: Mobile has so much content for a mobile game it's scary. Does it beat the competition? Certainly.

It's taken a while, but finally, October 2005, we have the greatest mobile game of it's kind.

The game itself is very neatly presented by In-Fusio, fade out menus providing a nice effect. The menu graphics to are very well done. They have also made a good attempt at music, unlike some other games that have a 10 second happy tune, AoE II: Mobile has decent music.

Down to the features. The game basically has three game modes:

Tutorial
======
Basically this is for beginners, mainly just to get people used to playing it on mobile, and for those who haven't played AoE, just introducing them to the basics. Overall, a useful mode.

Campaign
========
A set of missions, much like missions in the PC version. A very entertaining part of the game, and missions aren't by any means short, so it will keep you entertained for a while. Another plus is that the game has it's own storyline from the very beginning, and not a bad one either. In short, crush the other empires.

Random Map
==========
Like the Random Map and Deathmatch modes in the PC versions, you start from scratch and build a civilization. You have enemies, who will also be building their own empires, their intent on bringing you down.

As you can probably tell from above, In-Fusio have packed a hell of a lot into the game. Not only that, you get 4 different civilizations to choose from, 13 structures, 9 units, 4 ages, mini map, fog of war, it's basically completely resemblent of the PC version, just not as pretty, although take nothing away from the graphics, their also very good.

Overall, a damn good game. If you like games like this, get Age of Empires II: Mobile, the others are a waste of time compared to it, because it's the benchmark.
