Age of Empires was great. Rise of Rome was fun and necessary. Now you get both.

Age of Empires GE is a great game. The old graphics can be annoying sometimes, but it is kinda nostalgic.
Another thing that is a little annoying is the sound. Average music and hideous effects cover the most parts.

But don´t care about it.

When you get past that, the game offers extremely addictive campaigns and the superb multiplayer, that maybe lacks a little, is terrific to play with others!
You can also build your own scenarios and campaigns in the game with the editor. It might take some time to learn about it, so be patient.

Age of Empires included many civilizations and campaigns. Rise of Rome added two more civilizations and a bunch of campaigns.
This ended up with long-time gameplay that all RTS-gamers will enjoy!

This is a game that is definetly worth playing, trust me.

Ensemble Studios has done a great job with the game and the expansion.
Now they are together. Forever.
