Wasn't expecting much from the reviews but then I was happily surprised!

I love interactive novel games. I went to check out the reviews and was disappointed by the poor reviews but I wanted to check out the game anyway. I got the game and was a little thrown off at first by the real actors as opposed to drawn Hotel Dusk characters but as the game progressed I felt it made the story and suspense more realistic.
I wouldn't say this is the game of the year but it was an enjoyable game to play in between major game releases. I read that some people didn't like having to wait for all the text to show up. In the settings I put the text speed for fast and it showed up quickly enough for me at least.
I'm not going to give any part of the story away but you play an FBI agent and you and your partner are looking into a copycat of the Providence killer. You mainly travel to different locations interviewing people and suspects and then at some point in the game you use your psychic ability to piece together what happened at a particular location in the past. There are twists and turns in the story and I kept on playing to see what happens.
I think that people should give this game a try if they are into interactive novels.
