Advent Rising was a great idea with great game play.

Advent Rising I bought because a friend had told how good it was. I was pleasantly surprised with how fun it was. The powers add a nice twist to your typical action shooter. The slow motion jump adds the whole matrix element to it. Over all the game is really fun, its replay value isn't that high though, besides making a different choice right at the beginning and choosing to level different thats it. The end of the game leaves you hanging, like we're talking Lord of the Rings hanging and then this discontinued making the other two squeals for it. So instead of having this really cool trilogy that they planned on we have 1 game with an ending where you start shaking the tv going, WHAT WHAT WHAT HAPPENS!!! But all in all I really enjoyed the game, theres just something rewarding about being able to gun down someone while lifting another off the ground with your powers and fling him off into the abyss. Its worth the play though!
