I must admit that I enjoyed Activision games in my youth during the days of Atari 2600. But 25 years later having been exposed to the gamut of video games and having the opportunity to replay all the games that I grew up with...did it have replay value? I was bored and disappointed. The nostalgia was dominated by the frustrations of these games itself which have primitive cave-man graphics and gameplay didn't age too well either. I accepted the cave-man graphics when I was younger because that's what's available. Kaboom my favorite Activision game could NOT be played accordingly without a paddle so it was frustrating. Plaque Attack one of the better games, is fun initially but the AI cheats towards the end -- bad programming. Stampede the horse runs too slow up and down. All the other games are a bore these days and graphics were so important. Activision could have at least tried to update the graphics of a few good games in the anthology.
